I recently heard this song by Karen Drucker: I’ve spent my life with a disease to please, I say yes, when I really meant to. But now I’ve seen the light and I feel the time has come for me to say, there is something I need to know: “No is my new yes.
When I say no I’m saying yes to me. When I say no, I set myself free. I’ve been living my life, living to please, full of effort and struggle and not enough ease. I’ve been a such a good boy, but now I know when I’m untrue to me, I lose a piece of my soul. No is my new yes. I thought to be nice. I had to be nice doing what others wanted, but I am paying the price.

So many times we look outside of ourselves
To find the perfect design of life but truly I am coming to believe more and more that my perfect design is all within me. The perfect design that I lust and hunger after is woven so delicately in all moments that if one should blink they would miss it. All of life moves with such synchronicity! Leading us to form opinions and draw conclusions based upon the compelling but perhaps erroneous information that, at first glance, may appear as absolute reality.
When we view situations solely through intellectual processes, we might be led to making harsh judgments by using rigid and inflexible rules we have been taught and come to regard as law. This process may serve us in making simple decisions but reason must be tempered by the love, spirit and compassion that reside within each of us.

It takes courage to look at our lives honestly. Really, it does – most of the time we just talk ourselves into being satisfied with the norm. Wow can you believe it,it’s almost 2013. Yes we are going beyond 12/21/2012 so settle down no need to panic. Life is just starting, a new vibration is giving birth.
