Be present – her favorite moments are those when she let go of all expectations and worries and just simply celebrated the very moment she was living – Kelly Rae Roberts

“H.I.P. people have release control of being the general manager of the universe. They trust that there’s a divine plan unfolding for the best for everyone. Be H.I.P. Trust that the universe has got your back.” ~ Coach T
We are not responsible for everyone in this world. In fact a lot of times we even have no control over our own lives. I believe that there is something much greater ruling this world, something that cannot be described in words and cannot be fully understood. Some call it God, the universe, life.
We do not have to take on everything that is going on in the world as our responsibility to fix. Things happen to us and to those that we love and care about, but still we do not have to make it our business to attempt to fix everything that happens. Some things we cannot fix, we are simply going to experience them – both good and bad. Taking it upon ourselves to carry all of the weight for everyone we care about is not healthy. We cannot carry the burdens of other people and we cannot fix them either.

“Healthy, Inspiring, Purposeful people let their life be a mission, not an intermission, they know that they are here for a purpose and on purpose. Be H.I.P. Trust and discover your mission, then say yes to it and no to everything else.” ~ Coach T
I recently heard this song by Karen Drucker: I’ve spent my life with a disease to please, I say yes, when I really meant to. But now I’ve seen the light and I feel the time has come for me to say, there is something I need to know: “No is my new yes.
When I say no I’m saying yes to me. When I say no, I set myself free. I’ve been living my life, living to please, full of effort and struggle and not enough ease. I’ve been a such a good boy, but now I know when I’m untrue to me, I lose a piece of my soul. No is my new yes. I thought to be nice. I had to be nice doing what others wanted, but I am paying the price.

“H.I.P. people know that trust is relationship and relationship is trust. No relationship, no trust. Trust is the glue that holds relationships together and allow it to evolve. Be H.I.P. Cultivate trust in your relationships.” ~ Coach T
Trust is the essential precondition upon which all successful relationships depends, upon which all real success in life depends. Without it nothing can be built or maintained. Yet, increasingly we find ourselves in a world where our methods to address distrust are insufficient.
As with most subject matters of the heart there are levels and levels upon which trust can be addressed. I am going to share two that may appear simple but are powerful if practiced consistently. They are in no particular order.

“Purposeful people know that the time will never be just right. Be H.I.P. Don’t wait for the right time. NOW is the right and the only time.” ~ Coach T
Confession time, here I am preparing to blog this wonderful message to you all and my eyes caught hold of the calendar and a moment of panic / realization kicks in. Yikes! the year is almost ending and there is a slew of items that has to be prepared. Whoa, what have I or we accomplished all year.
Breathe…. and I am back to this moment, the only moment. How many times have you been jolted by the concept of time and the list of to do? We have all been zapped into this concept that 24 hours is no longer enough. Technology and the fast demand of our attention really doesn’t support our energies either. Everything appears to be moving constantly. Sometimes I even get caught in the guilty measure of spending times with friends, whether in person or on the phone, and yet my attention is split to cooking or computer.

Healthy, Inspiring, Purposeful people practice seeing other’s light by greeting them with “I see you”. Be H.I.P. practice silently greeting others with “I see you”. I see your light of greatness & excellence. ~ Coach T
Every day we spend hours projecting unto others our light qualities and our dark qualities. This means the qualities that we cannot accept as being a part of us but we perceive them out into the world. Into our family, friends and love ones, all of whom are playing their part in being mirror reflections for us.
The game goes like this – that person is mean, that person is angry, that person is undeserving. Perhaps that person is great, awesome, beautiful and charismatic. The qualities that we perceive as dark we push those away (daily feuds) and the ones that are light we are enthralled with. Humans spend hours per day watching OWN network because of the greatness they admire in Oprah (and yes there are those that perceive her differently). So many friends and acquaintances who comments “I will be on Oprah soon” – this is because they thing Oprah has something that they don’t have. She holds the ticket to their abundance and celebrity status.

H.I.P. people know that as we become clearer channels for light to shine our desire for darkness becomes less and less. Be H.I.P. become a clear channel for light. ~ Coach T
Gossip is not H.I.P. It’s not cool. Gossip is a path down the dark-side. You don’t want to go there. It is putting others in the dark instead of the light. Gossip robs you of energy and is a cheap way to feel good about yourself. It is pointless entertainment. Whenever you gossip about someone else you lower your own vibration. Whenever you gossip you waste your time and your own life. Whenever you gossip you give the person you gossip about your energy and power for that moment. It dims your light.
It serves nothing to gossip or speak negatively about another. Gossip is an empty calorie communication, like eating cheap fast food that leaves you dissatisfied. Ask yourself before you talk about another person, it is true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Will it hurt anyone? Will it improve upon the silence? If you answer no to any of these perhaps its best left unsaid.

H.I.P. people practice seeing the Divine light in others by greeting them with the salutation – Namaste – I behold the Divine in you. Be H.I.P. practice seeing the light in others and greet them with Namaste. ~ Coach T
Love those that attack and challenge you the most. They are simply God’s angels disguised to remind you to love bigger and shine your light brighter. Sometimes we think because we have pure intentions or are doing some good in the world that everyone will be happy for you. This is not always the case. Often when light seeks to emerge darkness seeks to oppose it. But you cannot give it too much energy or weight. As you step more fully into you unique light, your authentic power, those around you may sometimes feel threatened. You just show them either where they are not embracing their own light or where it scares them. They may lash out at you.
KNOW THIS: They are not really threatened by you, they are actually threatened by their own greatness, their own light, that you remind them of. But trust that nothing can stop what is meant to be. Resist the natural temptation to fight darkness with darkness. Anger with anger. Hate with hate. This will only perpetuate the cycle of suffering and darkness and end up bringing you down.

Healthy, Inspiring, Purposeful people know that if they don’t let their light shine, they will never be a shining star. Be H.I.P. know that you are a shining star, no matter who you are, shining brightly for all to see. Shine baby shine. ~ Coach T
My wonderful husband has these habits that at once would drive me up the walls but then when I asked myself “what would I do if one day these habits went?” I decided to really breathe them all in. Yes, it is a process to look beyond the appearance but this is a process I have consciously chosen to fully experience every step of the way.
Our mutual relationship is one of supporting each other to evolve into our best selves. This requires being pushed beyond the comfort zone. This dedication more often than not allows us to confront the frighten parts of our personalities and to simply be with what is seeking to emerge, a necessary discomfort for the evolutionary relationship that we both seek to express.

The purpose of prayer is to come into conscious awareness of the Presence of God NOW – Communion or Common-Union-Oneness
Prayer allows is to synchronize our awareness with the Mind of God and enter into a state of consciousness called Heaven. Heaven NOW.. I know this might sound radical to some people but really why should we wait for a state of Heaven (happiness, peace, joy, abundance etc) in the afterlife. What then would be the purpose of a present time incarnation?
