It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.
Being who we really are, expressing ourselves honestly, being bold and going for what we want in life can cause a great deal of fear in us. Many of us run away or hide from our fears because they seem scary, uncomfortable or embarrassing. However, most things that will help us to grow in life doesn’t show up without any fear at all.
As we strive to live with authenticity, it’s inevitable that we will encounter quite a bit of fear along our path. Most of us erroneously think that as we evolve in life our goal should be to get rid of fear. Unfortunately, completely ridding ourselves of fear isn’t possible or even desirable. Fear is an essential part of growth and can be used in a positive way for authenticity and fulfillment – if we are willing to deal with it in a direct, honest and conscious way.

When my wife and I made the conscious choice to enter into a conscious relationship and eventually get married we surrendered to our Inner Beloved to express a relationship with a high calling. Relationships with high callings can develop in any facet of life.
Their hallmark is this: two or more people coming together to create a third or fourth or fifth something, which is inspired and serves more than their ego’s desires. On a deep level, they are committed, not only to each other, but to expressing the spiritual world.

There is an old proverb that says “God is not in confusion” (substitute God for what is appropriate to you) and I cannot tell you how many times this mantra / proverb has parted the red seas of my mind. By simply breathing in and repeating it to self a few times I have been able to pause and gather myself.
Often times you will find that whenever a shift or decision needs to be made some stuff will present itself before you. This usually happen because of fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of the repercussions or fear of the newness that is seeking to express itself in your life. There are also times when you experience gridlock in communication, with no solutions in sight…. Divine is not in confusion! Getting a clear sense of direction is very important during these times. In fact it is best to refrain from any or all life altering decisions when confusion is your state.

The junk of yesterdays are the things that no longer serve you. This junk limits you to the past. It keeps you stuck and unmovable without the possibility of new experiences and opportunities. Some of the junk that we tend to hold on to is unforgiveness, unhealthy relationships, grudges, hurts and miscommunication. We get to wound up in the junk that our emotions and triggers are constantly on.

Sometimes you have to just put both feet on the ground firmly and keeping moving forward. The same old repeated pattern of thoughts, reactions, behavior, attitudes and choices will only get you the same. Freedom, spontaneity, love, joy, all require great discipline.
Discipline does not mean forcing ourselves to do something or refraining from being involved with some negative action. Discipline means looking beyond the appearance, beyond that which is visible and acknowledging on Infinite cause.
When there is no discipline in your life, you are busily reacting to the world, to whatever it presents to you. If you are pleased when something that you consider good happens, you are still giving power to that good and it is then controlling you. When you are unhappy because a problem comes along you are reacting to this appearance and thus are not free to be your self.

We are not born with courage, but neither are we born with fear, LOVE is our true nature. So where does our fears come from you might ask? Perhaps some of our fears are brought on by our own experiences, by what someone has told us, by what you’ve read in the papers.
