Because times are changing and families everywhere are seeking new and different ways of holding unto the traditions that are so very important to them. When you christen your child you are making a public statement that you have made the conscious decision to raise your child according to spiritual principles. You are declaring the truth that you are a teacher. In the society today it is important that we continue to make a safe and open space for our children to express and grow into their full potential.
Unless you parent in the total spirit of Love, it doesn’t matter what laws you think you are teaching—they will just become lifeless rules that your child will discard, as soon as there is no longer an authoritative finger around. Get the tools necessary by attending one of our pre-christening sessions to deepen your awareness of how important this right of passage is.

When my wife and I made the conscious choice to enter into a conscious relationship and eventually get married we surrendered to our Inner Beloved to express a relationship with a high calling. Relationships with high callings can develop in any facet of life.
Their hallmark is this: two or more people coming together to create a third or fourth or fifth something, which is inspired and serves more than their ego’s desires. On a deep level, they are committed, not only to each other, but to expressing the spiritual world.

Gratitude is a fullness of heart that moves us through limitation to a space of expansion and love.
When we appreciate someone or something, our ego moves out-of-the-way, because we can’t have our attention on ego and gratitude at the same time. Just for a moment consider the things you have in your life that you could be grateful for. All the natural relationships, material comforts, your body and the mind that really allows you to understand yourself and everything around you. Breathe and be grateful for the air that’s filling your lungs and making your life possible. Feel your body and consider what a miracle it is simply to be alive, right now. Feel the love, compassion, and understanding that gratitude brings into your heart.

“Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is enlightenment.” ~ Lao Tzu
How well do you know yourself, I mean really know yourself? The first essential aspect of living a more authentic life is to know who we truly are at the deepest level. Some of us may be more aware of ourselves than others. Knowing ourselves, like being authentic itself, is a life long process. The more intentional we are about this, the more we can grow and evolve.
Given our depth, complexity and constant evolution as human beings, it’s not possible for us to get to a point in life at which we know everything about ourselves. However the majority of us stay pretty unconscious and unaware of ourselves for much of our lives – which often causes a great deal of confusion and suffering for us and those around us. Our goal, therefore, is to continue to discover more and more about who we really are as we go through our journey.

Learn to be your own valentine. “Healthy, Inspiring, Purposeful people know that loving oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance. Be H.I.P. Learn to romance yourself more.” Why? Well, H.I.P. individuals know that you can only give and receive love from and to others only to the degree that you give and receive love from and to yourself. “Healthy, Inspiring, Purposeful people let their life be a mission, not an intermission, they know that they are here for a purpose and on purpose. Be H.I.P. Trust and discover your mission, then say yes to it and no to everything else.” ~ Coach T
I recently heard this song by Karen Drucker: I’ve spent my life with a disease to please, I say yes, when I really meant to. But now I’ve seen the light and I feel the time has come for me to say, there is something I need to know: “No is my new yes.
When I say no I’m saying yes to me. When I say no, I set myself free. I’ve been living my life, living to please, full of effort and struggle and not enough ease. I’ve been a such a good boy, but now I know when I’m untrue to me, I lose a piece of my soul. No is my new yes. I thought to be nice. I had to be nice doing what others wanted, but I am paying the price.

We invite you to hold in consciousness
During your quiet time this prayer / thought written by James O’Dea. The word “we” is used as there is a shift from “I” to the world at large.
We are moving from being locked into outrage at war and violence, or being defined as a protest movement, to creating a culture of peace from the ground up and from the inside out.
We are moving from the reactive condemnation of others arising out of a presumed superior moral position, to engaging in dialogue, listening, and drawing on nonviolent communication strategies.

So many times we look outside of ourselves
To find the perfect design of life but truly I am coming to believe more and more that my perfect design is all within me. The perfect design that I lust and hunger after is woven so delicately in all moments that if one should blink they would miss it. All of life moves with such synchronicity! At least that’s what I believe.
