What if just for today we were just grateful for everything? Sounds like a good idea…. True gratitude is a way of life. Beginning today when you wake up in the morning, let your first thought be one of thanksgiving that you have another day to walk in the love of Spirit.

When we think as a victim – we think something is happening to me
When we think in terms of manipulation – we think something is happening by me
When we think in terms of ourselves as channels – we think something is happening through me
When we think of just being – whatever is happening is happening as me

I had someone ask me why
God never seemed to answer his prayer – I replied – “it’s not that God never answers your prayer, it’s that you never become still and silent long enough to hear God.” Silence is the key to being able to hear the voice of God. Silence is not just the cessation of noise in the outer,it is a state of being. Entering into a state of silence is tapping into a realm of consciousness for the purpose of putting us in touch with Divine Mind so that the soul may listen to the still small voice. We all want to hear this voice as it ultimately guides our path to greater living.

One uses prayer / meditation to be aligned with what already is.
We say what already is as we affirm and believe that “all is done” in creation already. There are times when we experience situation and circumstances that does not look like “all is done” already. But the Truth is, we are the ones out of alignment NOT Truth.

The purpose of prayer is to come into conscious awareness of the Presence of God NOW – Communion or Common-Union-Oneness
Prayer allows is to synchronize our awareness with the Mind of God and enter into a state of consciousness called Heaven. Heaven NOW.. I know this might sound radical to some people but really why should we wait for a state of Heaven (happiness, peace, joy, abundance etc) in the afterlife. What then would be the purpose of a present time incarnation?

We invite you to hold in consciousness
During your quiet time this prayer / thought written by James O’Dea. The word “we” is used as there is a shift from “I” to the world at large.
We are moving from being locked into outrage at war and violence, or being defined as a protest movement, to creating a culture of peace from the ground up and from the inside out.
We are moving from the reactive condemnation of others arising out of a presumed superior moral position, to engaging in dialogue, listening, and drawing on nonviolent communication strategies.

H.I.P. Relationship Tip: Self-care isn’t just about you.
Whether you’re a teacher, coach, parent, minister, when you want to help others change it’s oh so tempting to believe that means giving your all, 110% of the time. That is means being on call no matter what – going the extra mile, being invested in the outcome and truth be told sometimes it does.
Short bursts of all out giving as a teacher, coach, minister, especially parent comes with the territory. But if you do it for extended stretches or you believe you must do it to be good or to be worth what you charge, you’re setting yourself up for a big ole train wreck of burnt out and soul sucking resentment.

“Don’t be afraid of the space between your dreams and reality. If you can dream it, you can make it so.” ~ Belva Davis
Growing up my sisters and I would spend hours lying on your stomachs, searching for four-leaf clovers. We knew they were rare and like St. Patrick’ s Day shamrocks brought good luck. If one of us found one we would make a silent wish for some good thing or event in our lives. we named our heart’s desire and we expected wholeheartedly that it would be fulfilled.
