During my three year sabbatical I spent my time in doors between journaling, reading and television. In spite of the achievements and accolades the best gift I could have given myself was this time of reflection. In fact I could not have orchestrated that gift; it had to be a gift from the Divine. It was in those days that I wrestled like Jacob. I needed to know a few things: “How to love myself?”, “How to love others?” and certainly “How to be in this world and not of it?” These were just a few of the thoughts that kept me pondering at nights, coming to grips with the choices I had made and the path my life was unfolding in.

In this weeks article I had to cover relational unfoldment. This had to be my most challenging one, because I had so much I want to write and say to everyone. It was challenging also because I had to stick to one story line. Now everyone know when it comes to relational unfoldment I could write a whole book with multiple story lines. This week we had the opportunity during meditation to look at our agreement with mediocrity. We defined this as the status quo or better yet the “good enough” state of being. Is is possible to suggest that good is the enemy of great?
Is it possible to ponder that perhaps the reason we don’t have great schools is because we have good schools? Or the reason we don’t have great government is because we have good government ?
